Placement 1: CCO, Cardiac company in Massachusetts
Challenge: A start-up of ours could not find the quality of candidate they were looking for within their budget, without a non compete and based in Massachusetts.
Approach: We understood the problem and performed a full and thorough search. Due to the parameters of the search, we were required to think outside the box. Committing significant time and resource to navigate around the issue of a non compete.
Solution: Our candidate is still at the business, performing and utilising our services to help build his team.
Placement 2: CFO, Orthopaedics in New York
Challenge: We work closely with a number of venture capital firms and their portfolio companies. The challenge with this search was that although VC firms often have an extensive network they needed someone immediately.
Approach: The urgency of this hire allowed us to utilise our Talent Management Model. Our existing network of high caliber candidates who we have built a relationship with over significant periods of time.
Solution: We crossed referenced the brief against our network of CFO’s in the area and industry. Ultimately, we were able to provide a shortlist of candidates to our client within hours. They have since gone on to raise Series A, B and IPO under our placed CFO.
